I'm from Huntingburg, Indiana, and am a Computer Science student at Purdue University. I am currently working as a Full-stack Software Developer Intern at Jasper Engines, and plan to pursue a similar role after graduation.
Although I'm a programmer and tech enthusiast, I'm also passionate about the humanities. Alongside my major in computer science, I'm pursuing a B.A. in Spanish, which I have been learning and speaking for more than six years now. I've also collaborated with the Purdue Exponent, reporting on a variety of topics including semiconductor research and the student housing crisis.
Outside of school, I enjoy cooking, traveling, reading, and the occasional bike ride. In 2025, I plan to go on a semester-long study abroad in Latin America, where I will continue my studies and perfect my working proficiency in Spanish.
I am very excited about working as a developer after I graduate. We are currently in the middle of a great technological revolution—marked by the emergence of new technologies such as generative AI, cloud computing, and spatial computing.
I look forward to developing products that utilize these tools, and am eager to make my own small impact on the future.
My projects span front-end interfaces, API development, and database integration, and more, giving me real experience with production-grade software systems.
I regularly work with tools like Azure, Blazor, Cosmos DB, and Azure DevOps to build and deploy scalable and cloud-native solutions.
In addition, by utilizing tools AI tools like ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, I can now develop faster and more effectively than what was possible before.
Beekeeper is a full-stack web application designed for Bee Native Farms, owned an operated by my dad, Jonathan. When finished, it will include tools for managing inventory, customers, transactions, and more, enabling greater productivity by reducing time spent book-keeping.
I decided to start this project because I wanted to learn how to build a website from the ground-up, using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I found myself overwhelmed by the web development stack, so I decided that I would not use any frameworks for this project.
I learned a lot in the process of creating this website, and I now feel confident enough to use them in a professional setting and on more advanced future projects.
